We currently offer Traditional and hybrid CNA classes. We also offer American Heart Association CPR certification classes.
The average class length is 7 to 8 weeks. During those weeks, you will complete 116 hours of coursework mandated by the Illinois Department of Public Health for all Illinois CNA Programs. During the summer months, RAVE will host classes that can be completed in 4 to 6 weeks.
Students who successfully pass the theory and skills portions of the class will complete their clinical training at local area nursing homes and hospitals.
Each cohort, or class section, is considered full once 8 students have enrolled. This low class size ensures YOU remain a top priority and can be successful.
All students must be 16 years of age or older by the class start date.
Students interested in enrolling in the hybrid course should have excellent time-management skills, be self-motivated, and be comfortable with online learning, including online lectures and assignment submission. This class type is certainly not for every learner. Technology requirements include stable internet, access to a computer, and a webcam.
